The Independence select Havertown-native Sinead Farrelly with their first pick in Friday’s 2011 WPS Draft in Baltimore. The versatile Lauren Fowlkes is the club’s second pick. In other Independence news, Heather Mitts was traded to Atlanta Beat for a third round draft pick in 2012.
