Philadelphia Union II defeated Huntsville City FC 1-0 in a gritty MLS NEXT Pro Eastern Conference Semifinal, advancing to the Conference Final thanks to a decisive penalty kick goal from Stas Korzeniowski in the 67th minute. The defensive battle saw a scoreless first half before Stas converted from the spot, with Union II goalkeeper Andrew Rick securing the clean sheet in a physical match with numerous fouls.
